  • The unit is responsible for the corrugated board market and serves companies in the Manaus free trade zone, which are leaders in the home appliances, electronics and two - wheelers segments. It also produces boxes for the food, personal and home care, and other segments.
  • Currently, the plant has production capacity of 1,500 tons/month and 18,000 tons/year.

  • Latin America's largest producer of paper from virgin fiber, the unit is also one of the ten largest virgin fiber packaging paper mills in the world and the fifth largest virgin fiber paperboard producer.
  • Produces kraftliner and paperboard for packaging and sells eucalyptus and pine logs.
  • Forest area of 275,600 hectares: 135,200 hectares of planted pine and eucalypt forests and 110,300 hectares of preserved native forests.
  • The unit began adopting sustainable development principles in the 1940s. Its forests are used for scientific research, the production of non-wood forestry products and wildlife reproduction and reintroduction.

  • Klabin’s largest recycled paper plant, which also produces corrugated board packaging.
  • Supplies basic raw materials for the production of corrugated boxes for this and other units.
  • Paper production capacity is 90,000 tons/year and packaging production capacity is 91,000 tons/year.
  • Together with the paper mill, there is also a recycling unit for Aseptic Packaging. The pulp fibers that form the paper layers of aseptic packaging are separated from the polyethylene and aluminum layers and then reused to make recycled paper for the production of corrugated board.Meanwhile, the polyethylene and aluminum layers collected are sent for reuse by other companies.
