The General Maintenance Shutdown at the Monte Alegre Plant in Telemaco Borba (PR) begins this Wednesday, 30th of July and lasts until 8th of August. For ten days, about 2.7 thousand temporary workers will perform maintenance activities throughout the plant. Work is also expected to be concluded on Expansion Project MA-1100, which has raised the capacity of the mill from 700 thousand tons a year to 1.1 million tons and received investments of R$ 2.2 billion.
