Museum of fauna and flora
Examples of flora and especially fauna from the region are exhibited in an area of 70 square meters. Its zoological collection comprises approximately 600 pieces, being 165 stuffed animals, 25 skeletons, 110 skulls, 150 items preserved in liquids and 150 other varied items. The Museum also contains a display of insects, of non-poisonous snakes (live) and collections of leaves, seeds and slices of wood from Monte Alegre’s trees and shrubs.
It is one of the most complete museums of fauna and flora in the State of Parana.
