Klabin’s Forestry Unit is the largest Brazilian supplier of logs from planted forests to the plywood and sawn timber industry. Its processes guarantee reliable and low-cost products, always aligned with the Company’s policy of sustainability. Klabin owns forests that have been certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and was the first company in the Pulp and Paper sector in the Southern Hemisphere to be awarded FSC certification, for its forested areas in Parana, in 1998.
