The industrial process in all Klabin’s plants is strongly integrated with the area of forestry development, which helps to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs. R & D is also responsible for providing the knowledge and technology to plan and develop industrial production systems.

The Superar Program was set up to improve both production and productivity in the mill at Monte Alegre. This program was named for the group of improvement projects conducted with WCM (World Class Manufacturing) methodology. In this program, specific routines and tools for each type of improvement project are always used with the objective of progressively eliminating losses – losses being considered as any process which is subject to improvement.

Exceed Program

One of the pillars of the Exceed Program is Preventive Product Management which involves research and development of new solutions. Centered on the problems (of process and products, internally and externally) which both production and customers may encounter, the Superar team has anticipated the solutions, guaranteeing the correct usage of the product and its best performance.
