Klabin is the biggest paper producer, exporter and recycler in Brazil. It is the leading manufacturer of packaging paper and board, corrugated boxes, industrial sacks and timber in logs. It has 17 industrial plants in Brazil and one in Argentina. Self-sufficient in wood, it has 224 thousand hectares of planted forests and 187 thousand hectares of preserved native woodlands. It was the first company from the pulp and paper sector in the Southern Hemisphere to have its forests certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), attesting to the fact that the company runs its activities within the highest possible standards of environmental conservation and socioeconomic sustainability.

Klabin’s Forestry Unit is not only responsible for the supply of raw material - wood - to all the company’s paper mills, but is also the largest supplier in Brazil of logs from planted forests.

Klabin is the leader in the Brazilian corrugated packaging sector and has the biggest production capacity in the domestic market, with nine box plants. Klabin’s boxes service every segment of the economy, providing total protection for the products they transport. Today the production of corrugated boxes and recycled papers made by Klabin can now be sold with the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) trademark of sustainability.

Klabin, leading company in the multi-wall and SOS sack segment, is recognized for the quality of its products and personalized customer service in a wide variety of market segments, of which most noteworthy are civil construction, food, chemical products and agribusiness. All of Klabin’s industrial sack plants have chain of custody certification from the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).
