Klabin is the biggest producer, exporter and recycler of paper in Brazil. It is the leading producer of packaging paper and board, corrugated boxes and industrial sacks and timber in logs.

It was the first company from the pulp and paper sector in the Southern Hemisphere to have its forests certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), testifying to the fact that the company is running its operations according to the highest standards of environmental conservation and socio-economic sustainability.

Forestry

Klabin’s Forestry Unit is not only responsible for the supply of raw material - wood - to all the company’s paper mills, but is also the largest supplier in Brazil of logs from planted forests.

Klabin is both the pioneer and the leader in Kraft Paper production in Latin America, besides being the largest manufacturer and exporter of packaging paper, responsible for 74% of Brazilian exports. Currently, the Company has 6% of international kraftliner trade.

Packaging

Klabin is the leader in the Brazilian corrugated packaging sector and has the biggest production capacity in the domestic market, with nine box plants. Klabin’s boxes service every segment of the economy, providing total protection for the products they transport. Today the production of corrugated boxes and recycled papers made by Klabin can now be sold with the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) trademark of sustainability.

Industrial Sacks

Klabin, leading company in the multi-wall and SOS sack segment, is recognized for the quality of its products and personalized customer service in a wide variety of market segments, of which most noteworthy are civil construction, food, chemical products and agribusiness. All of Klabin’s industrial sack plants have chain of custody certification from the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).
